Hi all,
We all know that getting that tattoo you no longer love zapped isn’t the easiest task you will have to face but at least it is quick!
All the Laser Tech’s here at LaserTat have been lasered many times over the years so we’ve had plenty of time to come up with some top tips for coping during you tattoo removal treatment - Here goes:
Please eat!
It doesn’t have to be a full meal, just even a snack before your appointment. When you have an empty stomach & endure laser treatments you tend to get light-headed. If this tip slips your mind we have lollies, fruit & biscuits available for you to treat yourself with.Drink plenty of fluids.
We have water on hand if you feel you haven’t had enough. Water is so important as it flushes the ink particles through your system.Wear loose fitted clothing.
There is nothing worse than having your clothes rub on your freshly lasered area! OUCHAsk questions.
Ask as many questions as you need to. This helps ease the mind and makes you feel more comfortable with the treatment at hand. We are happy to chat as much as you need.BREATHE.
You not only need to do this to live, but it is especially important to do so during your treatment. Holding your breath does not help anyone & only makes you light headed.Keep that mind occupied.
Wiggle your toes, sing a tune, chat our ear off, watch YouTube, scroll social media do anything you can to keep your mind occupied. We even have stress balls to squeeze the life out of. You will be amazed with how well this works!Tell us if you need a break.
You can take as many breaks as you need. We go at your pace so please do not feel the need to rush! We would prefer to stop for a breather rather than you jumping and potentially effecting your surrounding tattoos.Numb if you need to!
Look, there are some spots that are more painful than others.
Numbing cream is available from your local pharmacist but will need to be applied 2 hours prior to your appointment. Come in with it on and we can clean it all up for you beforehand.
Remember if you have any questions or concerns prior to your treatment you can always contact us on Facebook, email or sms 0421132734
